Overview
Role Overview:
As an Associate Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-level support for Precisely products to customers worldwide. This customer-facing role requires strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Work Schedule:
- Location: Bengaluru – Hybrid
- Shift: 9 hours, flexible (including night shifts)
- Coverage: 24x5 weekdays, with on-call weekend support
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle technical issues via phone and email from English-speaking customers and partners
- Create and maintain support cases in the call tracking system
- Take ownership of customer issues, collect diagnostics, and provide timely resolutions
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and assist in severity management
- Keep customers informed of progress and solutions in a professional manner
- Support pre-sales, services engineers, installations, and product upgrades remotely
- Collaborate with development and product management teams on escalations and enhancements
- Contribute to documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles
- Work closely with global support teams across EMEA, APAC, and USA
- Continuously build technical expertise across Precisely products and related technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized institution
- 0–1 year of internship or project experience in relevant technologies
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Customer-first mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights
