Role Overview:
As a Frontend Engineer Intern, you will help build scalable, high-performance web applications. Collaborate with developers and product managers to transform ideas into functional and visually appealing web interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance web applications using React.js.
- Implement pixel-perfect layouts and UI components from wireframes and designs.
- Optimize web applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
- Refactor and optimize front-end code for maintainability.
- Debug UI issues and write unit and integration tests.
- Use version control systems like Git for collaboration and version management.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver cohesive, user-friendly solutions.
Who We're Looking For:
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Passion for intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to debug independently.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack or Gulp.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Awareness of accessibility standards and SEO principles.
- Enthusiasm for staying updated on the latest front-end development trends.
