This position supports the claims processing function and contributes to improving healthcare services by ensuring accurate claim handling and timely completion of tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process and complete medical claims accurately.
- Handle claims that are routed outside of automatic adjudication while meeting current turnaround standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of product lines related to the claims processing unit.
- Apply plan concepts such as deductible, coinsurance, copay, out-of-pocket limits, and state-specific variations.
- Follow company policies, employment terms, and operational directives including potential changes in work location, team assignments, shifts, and work arrangements as required by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree required. Candidates with BTECH, BE, MBA, B Pharm, or M Pharm are not eligible.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong English typing speed and accuracy.
- Result-oriented mindset with analytical and research capabilities.
- Ability to make effective decisions and interact professionally with others.
- Comfortable accepting feedback and improving through coaching.
- Critical thinking ability and attention to detail.
- Capable of multitasking and handling multiple products and benefit structures.
- Able to stay focused and productive even when tasks are repetitive.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
