Position Overview

This role focuses on producing innovative solutions through exploratory data analysis of unstructured, diverse datasets, typically gigabytes or larger in size.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries that lead to prototype development and product improvement.
• Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive and prescriptive models and advanced algorithms that optimize value extraction from data.
• Work with analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, and others to perform analysis and interpret data.

This function is not intended for employees performing less complex analysis on small data sets, rules-based algorithmic or descriptive analytics, or development of big data infrastructure. It involves a basic, structured, standard approach to work.

Scientist Responsibilities

Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to translate cutting-edge AI advancements into production-ready capabilities. Uphold ethical AI principles by embedding fairness, transparency, and accountability throughout the model development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
