NVIDIA Hiring Test and Tools Development Engineer (Pune) | 2026 Grad

AI Tools

Overview

NVIDIA has spent more than 25 years advancing computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing. The company continues to push innovation in AI-driven computing where GPUs power systems used in robotics, self driving vehicles, and advanced applications. Employees work in a collaborative environment focused on building impactful technology.

This role gives new graduates an opportunity to contribute to infrastructure that supports automated testing and quality workflows for the NVIDIA Omniverse platform. You will help develop systems that analyze failures, generate tests, and assist in identifying root causes automatically. The position combines software engineering with AI assisted development tools.

What you will be doing

  • Develop multi agent pipelines that support automated test generation, log analysis, failure triage, and bug filing workflows while collaborating with senior engineers on defined system components.
  • Support evaluation systems that measure the quality of agent outputs by writing test cases, studying failure patterns, and extending evaluation frameworks with guidance from experienced engineers.
  • Add instrumentation, logging, and monitoring to agent driven workflows so issues can be identified and debugged effectively.
  • Gain experience determining where large language models are effective and where limitations exist, while learning to design solutions around those constraints.

What we need to see

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in Python with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Practical exposure to AI focused development workflows such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or prompt engineering through coursework, projects, internships, or hackathons.
  • At least one project, open source contribution, or coursework example demonstrating how an LLM was integrated into a working system.
  • Basic understanding of software testing, CI/CD processes, or quality engineering practices.
  • Awareness of common LLM limitations including hallucination, context limits, and tool misuse, along with interest in methods to address them.

Ways to stand out

  • Experience building projects or hackathon submissions involving multi agent systems, MCP servers, or custom LLM tool integrations.
  • Hands on experimentation evaluating LLM outputs, such as building a small evaluation harness or scoring system.
  • Created a tool, script, or bot that others actively use, supported with documentation so it can be used independently.
  • Ability to analyze project limitations and design recovery paths instead of masking failures.
