System Software Engineering Intern
As a System Software Engineering Intern, you will support the design and development of software solutions for next-generation graphics and computing products. The role focuses on working across advanced compute, graphics, multimedia, and operating system software technologies.
What you'll be doing
- Understand principles of hardware operation, including CPU and memory architecture, buses, and interconnects.
- Work with operating system fundamentals such as multiprocessing, scheduling, memory management, privilege modes, file systems, and device drivers.
- Apply algorithms and data structures concepts.
- Contribute to parallel computing related work.
- Develop using C and/or C++ programming languages.
- Use scripting knowledge in Python or Perl when required.
What we need to see
- Strong academic performance.
- Currently pursuing M.Tech or B.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication.
- Good understanding of programming languages and processor architecture.
- Knowledge of operating system fundamentals.
- Linux kernel knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Python is preferred.
- Solid foundation in operating systems and algorithm development.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming in C, C++, or Java is preferred.
- Interest in innovative and optimized system designs.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Exposure to digital systems, computer architecture, computer arithmetic, software engineering, C and C++, assembly language programming, system-level integration, and system programming is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
