Overview
NVIDIA is seeking a Hardware and Software Developer to work on SoCV testbench infrastructure, bare-metal boot, silicon bring-up tools, and CPU/SOC/GPU test frameworks. The role requires a solid understanding of NVIDIA CPU, GPU, SOC systems, and boot architectures across complex development environments.
The position focuses on building scalable tools and frameworks that coordinate multiple IPs within the SOC ecosystem. You will join a dynamic SoCV and emulation infrastructure team that supports rapid technology delivery.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop tools, infrastructure, and test frameworks used in RTL simulations, C-simulations, emulation, FPGA, and silicon environments.
- Understand Tegra system architecture, especially SOC IPs related to boot and security functions.
- Create tools that allow design and verification teams to access registers, memory, DMA engines, and other SOC features.
- Enable test reuse across RTL, models, emulation, and silicon platforms.
- Build features used for silicon bring-up, including FUSE, ATE, security, Flash/DMA, board I2Cs, and USB debug devices.
- Develop C-model or RTL simulation capabilities to validate features before silicon availability.
What We Need to See
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience with 0-2 years of experience.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
- Good understanding of SOC and system architecture.
- Knowledge of SOC devices such as DMA, interrupt engines, CPUs, boot devices, MMU, and IOMMU.
- Understanding of operating systems, device drivers, and bare-metal test framework development.
- Ability to build scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Knowledge of hardware or software development life cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with silicon bring-up and emulation or FPGA test frameworks.
- Exposure to testbench architectures including C++ testbenches and SV/UVM environments.
- Knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog is an added advantage.
