Overview
About the Role:
As a Network Engineer, you will assist in designing, implementing, and managing AWS networking solutions, ensuring secure and efficient cloud infrastructure. You will work with VPC, subnets, route tables, VPNs, and security configurations while troubleshooting and optimizing AWS network performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, implementing, and managing AWS networking solutions
- Configure and maintain VPC peering, transit gateways, Direct Connect for hybrid cloud environments
- Manage security groups, network ACLs, and firewalls for secure communication
- Implement AWS security best practices for data and application protection
- Monitor network performance using AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and other tools
- Troubleshoot AWS networking issues and collaborate with senior engineers
- Automate networking tasks using CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS SDKs
- Support AWS migration projects, optimizing networking configurations
- Assist in network-related disaster recovery setup and testing
Certifications Required:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Foundational level)
Nice to Have:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
- CompTIA Network+ or other network certifications
