Role Overview
As a Software Engineer III within the Geographies & Marketplace Experiences team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping high-throughput, low-latency, and fault-tolerant supply chain platforms that power NIKE’s digital transformation and growth strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, innovative, and consumer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Implement test-driven development with tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
  • Leverage distributed/cloud-based environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Work with NoSQL databases like Cassandra, DynamoDB, or MongoDB and relational databases like MySQL or Oracle.
  • Ensure code quality through peer reviews and maintain technical documentation.
  • Utilize monitoring tools like Splunk, SignalFx, Kibana, or Grafana for observability.
  • Collaborate in an agile, fast-paced environment while demonstrating end-to-end project ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and microservice architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, static analysis, and automated testing.
  • Experience in eCommerce or supply chain domains is a plus.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
