About the Role

Nike, Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer I to join its ITC team. In this role, you will partner with global teams to design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable solutions in the Paid Media space. You’ll contribute to Nike’s digital transformation by building high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems.


Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and services to support mission-critical systems
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in design reviews, explain designs, and align with team members
  • Develop and optimize large datasets using Python, Java, Databricks, Hive, and Spark
  • Implement microservices architecture and cloud-native solutions on AWS
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure high code quality standards
  • Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Perform technical code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance in production
  • Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery

Who We’re Looking For

  • 0–2 years of experience in software development or data engineering
  • Strong foundation in data engineering, data modelling, and ETL
  • Familiarity with data management fundamentals and distributed systems
  • Experience working in highly collaborative, multi-discipline teams
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning
