As part of the Global Technology organization, this role supports internal Consumer Product and Innovation tools that enable the creation of Nike’s footwear and apparel. The position reports to the Software Engineering Manager based in Bengaluru and works closely with engineers and product managers on technology initiatives aligned with business goals.
Who You’ll Work With
You will collaborate with a team of engineers within the Global Technology organization. The team partners with product managers and stakeholders to build and improve internal platforms used by Nike’s design and product creation community.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- 0–2 years of software development experience
- Experience with modern front end frameworks such as React or Vue.js
- Exposure to cloud architecture, DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, or Jest
- Strong understanding of design patterns and computer science fundamentals
- Preferred exposure to AI, machine learning, or data related solutions
- Experience with modern software architectures including REST, domain driven design, and microservices
What You’ll Work On
- Design, develop, and operate scalable software solutions that support Nike’s design and creation community across web, front end, and cloud native platforms
- Create responsive and accessible web experiences using modern front end technologies, browser capabilities, and design systems
- Develop and integrate cloud native platforms, APIs, and services using an API first engineering approach
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and complete assigned development tasks
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and business partners to deliver reliable software solutions
- Support the full software development lifecycle including development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational improvements
- Continuously improve performance, scalability, resilience, usability, and maintainability across applications and backend services
