Job Summary

NetApp is building a new portfolio of data centric storage platforms and services designed to help organizations use their data in new ways. As part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will contribute to product development, testing strategies, automation, and system level validation. The team focuses on delivering innovative technologies that meet customer and market requirements while maintaining enterprise class product quality and fast time to market.

The role also involves maintaining and enhancing existing products and technologies while ensuring reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in software product development within a collaborative engineering team.
• Design and execute testing strategies including integration, system, scale, automation, and regression testing.
• Apply standard software engineering practices to build reliable and maintainable systems.
• Support enhancements and maintenance of existing technologies and storage platforms.

Requirements

• Development experience using C or C++ in Linux or UNIX environments.
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts such as computer architecture, operating systems, file systems, networking, algorithms, and data structures.
• Hands on experience with testing practices including automation, integration testing, system testing, scale testing, and regression testing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers in a team environment.
• Knowledge of storage technologies or cloud platforms is considered an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are beneficial.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field is required. A Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
