Job Description
NEC Corporation India is seeking enthusiastic and talented fresh graduates to join as Graduate Engineer Trainees. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a strong academic background in Computer Science or related fields and a keen interest in software testing and automation.
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will be involved in the testing lifecycle of software systems, contributing to both manual and automation testing processes. Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and execution of test cases
- Support in building and maintaining automation frameworks
- Perform manual testing to ensure software functionality and performance
- Document test results and log defects in collaboration with the development team
- Assist in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of software issues
- Learn and apply Agile testing methodologies
- Continuously explore opportunities to enhance software quality
Candidate Requirements
- 0–1 years of professional experience in software testing or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of basic SQL queries
- Foundational knowledge of programming (any language)
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore
