Overview
Job Role
As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data engineering and analytics solutions that enhance quality engineering, process optimization, and operational decision-making across Micron’s Assembly and Test manufacturing and supplier networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Develop full-stack applications using FastAPI and Angular.
- Create and manage dashboards in Tableau and Power BI.
- Assist teams with data extraction, analysis, and visualization.
- Troubleshoot and debug deployed systems.
- Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to deliver impactful projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python and related data analytics/engineering libraries.
- Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and JMP.
- Knowledge of REST API development in Python (FastAPI/Django).
- Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Angular and Bootstrap.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Snowflake, and GCP BigQuery.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and feature stores.
- Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics.
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of Machine Learning and AI algorithms.
- Knowledge of DevOps on cloud (GCP) or on-premises (OpenShift).
- Experience with semiconductor or deep tech manufacturing data.
- Familiarity with manufacturing quality practices and systems.
Experience
0–3 years in data analytics or data engineering roles.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related fields with strong programming exposure. A Master’s degree and certifications in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, AI, or Big Data are advantageous.
