About the Role
Mercer is seeking a talented Engineering Intern to join its technology team in Gurugram. This hybrid role requires working at least three days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, an understanding of technical delivery, and familiarity with design and architectural patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new features and modifications for back-end servers powering the Mettl Assessment Platform.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to understand change requests and propose optimal implementation strategies.
- Analyze change requests, estimate development effort, and deliver updates to the production environment efficiently.
- Conduct unit testing and occasionally participate in load testing.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with web services, including Microservices, REST, SOAP, and Web API.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Educational Qualifications
B.Tech or MCA degree required.
