Overview
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Cloud Software Development Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate will work with AWS and GCP, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy cloud-based distributed applications ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Build and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines using Spark/PySpark, integrating with cloud-native services.
- Monitor performance and health of cloud applications and infrastructure to ensure they meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Collaborate with developers, SDETs, researchers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators to ensure smooth deployment and operations.
- Implement data analytics and dashboarding solutions for business intelligence, operational monitoring, and model performance tracking.
- Contribute to the development, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models, understanding the end-to-end ML lifecycle including data collection, preprocessing, model (re)training, evaluation, deployment, and feedback loops.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proficient in Python and Java, with experience in unit testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and their services.
- Solid grasp of AI and ML concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices.
