Overview

The team is seeking Software Engineers who can contribute to advancing customer experience initiatives through continuous innovation and problem solving. The role suits individuals who are curious, analytical, and motivated, with a strong interest in building technology that improves the customer journey.

The Role

• Work as a full stack developer with attention to system design and code quality.
• Design and develop applications using Java 8 or higher while applying object oriented SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Build reusable and scalable microservices using technologies such as the Spring Boot framework and event driven architecture.
• Develop and deploy applications within a CI/CD environment using Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Use suitable persistence approaches including RDBMS and NoSQL databases depending on the application need.
• Follow coding standards and enforce code quality gates according to program guidelines.
• Create proof of concepts based on business requirements and technical needs.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across Mastercard to ensure successful project delivery.
• Work closely within Agile teams and contribute to collaborative development practices.

All About You

• Strong interest in technology with full stack development capabilities.
• Good understanding of product development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, knowledge of event driven architecture is beneficial.
• Experience building online or real time systems.
• Exposure to CI and CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and digital native architecture is considered an advantage.
