Overview

The Digital Network Services team at Mastercard develops advanced solutions that power the next generation of core payment products. These solutions are designed using Digital Network Architecture, cloud-native principles, and the Scaled Agile Framework to support modern payment infrastructure.

The Role

• Work as a full stack developer with strong attention to design quality and clean code practices.
• Design and build applications using Java 17 or later, applying object-oriented SOLID principles and patterns to create reusable and scalable microservices.
• Develop solutions using frameworks and technologies such as Spring Boot and event-driven architecture.
• Build and deploy applications in a CI/CD environment using Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Use suitable persistence technologies including RDBMS and NoSQL databases depending on system requirements.
• Follow established coding standards and enforce code quality checks aligned with program guidelines.
• Conduct proof-of-concept implementations based on business needs.
• Collaborate with different teams within Mastercard to ensure successful project delivery.
• Work closely in an Agile development environment and contribute to team collaboration.
• Provide technical guidance or training to junior developers when required.

All About You

• Strong interest in technology with capabilities as a full stack developer.
• Solid understanding of product development processes.
• Hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture is advantageous.
• Experience building online or real-time systems.
• Exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
• Experience working with Cassandra database.
• Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry and digital native architecture is beneficial.
