Role Overview
The Secure SDLC team is seeking an Associate Technical Product Owner. This position suits an early career professional with foundational exposure to application security and product or program support who is interested in developing deeper technical and security expertise with guidance from senior team members.
Program Ownership and Execution
- Support and scale the Security Champions Program through coordination, execution, and ongoing improvements.
- Own and manage assigned program components such as onboarding, documentation, and communications.
- Maintain and prioritize a program backlog with guidance from senior product and security leaders.
- Coordinate champion training sessions, enablement initiatives, and engagement activities.
Collaboration and Enablement
- Work with application security and engineering teams to communicate security practices and guidance.
- Assist cross functional collaboration across security, engineering, and product groups.
Reporting and Documentation
- Track and report program metrics including participation, adoption, and training completion.
- Maintain program documentation, internal resources, and playbooks.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute ideas that enhance program effectiveness.
Growth and Development
- Build technical knowledge related to application security and secure software development.
- Receive mentorship from experienced product and security professionals.
- Develop skills for future roles such as Technical Product Owner or Security Program Manager.
Technical Skills and Experience
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with application security concepts and common vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10.
- Exposure to security practices including vulnerability tracking or secure development processes.
- Experience with engineering or tracking tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence.
- Ability to work with technical stakeholders and summarize requirements clearly.

- Organized approach with attention to detail.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn within a security focused technical program environment.
- Comfort working within structured processes while continuing to develop skills.
