About the Role
MetLife is seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our Technology Services team in Noida. The role involves executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through comprehensive functional and regression testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and identify ambiguities.
- Write and maintain manual test cases, scenarios, and test plans.
- Apply testing methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
- Perform various testing types: functional, integration, system, UAT, and regression.
- Manage defects using Azure DevOps.
- Work with Mainframe and web-based applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define technical and process documentation.
- Support estimation and risk mitigation planning.
- Prepare test reports and support post-release reviews.
- Ensure independent work capability without supervision.
Required Skills
- Strong requirement analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of Java and automation tools.
- Experience with defect management tools such as Azure.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
- Client interaction skills.
Preferred Skills
- Proactive approach and initiative-taking attitude.
- Exposure to Agile methodology.
Education & Experience
Preferably a B.Tech graduate in Computer Applications or Computer Science. Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience in manual testing are eligible.

Work Arrangement
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Noida, India.
