You will execute macro-space (adjacency) planning projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute projects involving macro space design, planning and execution for your business area or division.
- Execute any new initiatives related to this process or role.
- Train and onboard extended team members on the processes.
- Simplify and optimize the process.
- Create store-specific visual space plans that show the layout and flow of merchandising categories and assortment, using data, business context and presentation architecture.
- Develop and maintain collaboration for seamless exchange of knowledge and context.
- Knowledge management: create, validate, store and share category and business context through category insights sessions.
- Apply project management practices to help deliver projects within set timelines and expected quality.
- Work in a team environment with a focus on team goals over individual goals.
Years of Experience
0 to 2 years of retail or relevant experience.
Primary Skills (must have)
- Understanding of the retail industry (local or global)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to comprehend, articulate and communicate locally and globally
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Problem solving: using data, information and visuals to solve business and execution challenges
- Working understanding of project management practices
