Overview
Position Summary
As an Associate QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and accuracy of math-related data in gaming products. This role requires developing, testing, and verifying simulation code and mathematical formulas while working closely with development teams to resolve issues and ensure timely product releases.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute simulation code to analyze mathematical data.
- Review math formulas and math sheet information for accuracy.
- Develop, review, and execute test plans/scripts for verifying math data.
- Identify and track issues during verification, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide detailed project completion reports and contribute to weekly status updates.
- Interface with development teams to communicate and resolve reported issues effectively.
- Utilize databases for quality assurance and testing purposes.
- Follow established work instructions and adhere to project deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of Math fundamentals (Statistics and Probability).
- Proficiency in analytical and logical skills.
- Knowledge or experience in C/C++/C# programming.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Python or other shell scripting languages is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Able to provide input and solutions for identified issues.
