About the Role
The Risk Solutions Technology Graduate Program is a 12 month experience that includes two rotations of six months each. Participants gain hands on exposure to big data, AI, site reliability engineering, DevOps, testing, and security engineering.
The program also introduces engineers to major cloud platforms including AWS and Azure. Along with technical training, participants receive mentorship, performance feedback, and opportunities to develop both technical and professional skills while contributing to real product development.
Responsibilities
- Write and review portions of technical specifications for system components of simple complexity.
- Follow established development processes, coding standards, and participate in code reviews with guidance from senior engineers.
- Work across different development environments while collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Fix basic bugs and apply principles of test driven development.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for software projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues while keeping up with new technologies.
- Apply knowledge of software development methodologies and data manipulation languages.
- Understand data modeling concepts and common development languages used in the team.
Requirements
- Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Graduation must be completed before July 2026.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java/J2EE, Python, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux, and .NET.
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Knowledge of data manipulation languages and data modeling concepts.
- Exposure to test driven development practices.
- Ability and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and development processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
