Overview

Leidos is seeking a motivated IT Associate Trainee to join its Smart team in India. The role focuses on providing effective IT application support to end users and helping ensure stable operation of systems and services. The position involves working in a dynamic environment where communication, accuracy, and responsiveness are important.

The trainee will assist customers by identifying issues, understanding system behavior, and helping implement suitable solutions. The role offers exposure to real client environments and encourages learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in validating and fulfilling client requirements.
• Perform basic application validation and support activities.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues independently and efficiently.
• Provide client assistance through email, phone, and remote support tools.
• Manage incidents and maintain proper documentation of issue resolutions.
• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth service operations.
• Be available to work five days a week from the office, occasionally overlapping with US shifts.

Basic Qualifications

• B.Tech, B.E, BCA, MCA, or M.Sc in IT.
• About 1 or more years of relevant IT experience.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, MySQL, networking, Windows, and scripting.
• Understanding of programming concepts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Knowledge

• Familiarity with HTML, Node.js, and JavaScript.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced support environment.
