AI-Native Software Engineer
Intentwise is seeking an AI-Native Software Engineer who can apply AI tools across the software development lifecycle. The role involves understanding problems, guiding AI systems effectively, validating generated outputs, and taking ownership of production-ready code.
What You’ll Do
- Develop applications, APIs, integrations, AI agents, and data workflows.
- Use AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, and documentation tasks.
- Review AI-generated code for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Create unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Take part in code reviews and explain technical decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and domain teams to deliver reliable software.
What We’re Looking For
- Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of software development experience. Strong recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on exposure to tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or related platforms.
- Good understanding of programming concepts, APIs, databases, Git, testing, and software design.
- Experience with languages including Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, Go, Kotlin, or similar.
- Participation in AI hackathons, either internal or external, with the ability to explain the project and contribution.
- Curiosity, ownership mindset, and fast learning ability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with LLM APIs.
- Familiarity with MCP.
- Exposure to AI agents, tool calling, and structured outputs.
- Frontend or backend development experience using React, Next.js, Node.js, or FastAPI.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and Docker.
- Experience building independent products or side projects.
