Job Description

Intel is looking for a motivated Development Tools Software Engineering temporary worker to join the team. This position offers hands-on experience working with software engineers, architects, and product teams to improve developer productivity and code quality.

The role focuses on supporting Intel's platform evolution through development tools, software integration, and workflow optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and optimization of a software development layer connecting HW and SW transactors and trackers.
  • Contribute to toolchain integration and performance analysis to improve developer workflows.
  • Participate in feature development focused on code quality and productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and architects to align tools with changing platform requirements.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and software testing to maintain robust development tools.
  • Use CI/CD processes to streamline development and deployment pipelines.
  • Explore new approaches for software quality and testing methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Programming proficiency in at least one language such as Python, C, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with software debugging and problem-solving techniques.
  • Understanding of software quality and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and processes.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and high-level software design.
  • Familiarity with AI coding environments such as Claude Code and VS Code.
  • Experience with scripting languages for automation tasks is preferred.
  • Exposure to code review practices and collaborative software development.

Work Model

This position follows Intel's hybrid work model, allowing employees to split time between on-site work and remote work.
