Job Description
As a Process Integration and Yield Engineering Graduate Intern, you will support Intel's semiconductor manufacturing and process development initiatives. This internship provides hands-on exposure to advanced process integration, yield enhancement, and manufacturing optimization activities while working with engineering teams.
You will contribute to process improvement efforts, analyze manufacturing data, and help maintain high product quality standards for semiconductor technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing semiconductor manufacturing processes and integration flows.
- Analyze electrical data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform experiments to optimize process parameters.
- Support risk assessments and help implement mitigation strategies for process-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve metrology strategies and process accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Contribute to projects aligned with Intel's manufacturing and technology goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Basic understanding or coursework related to semiconductor processes, process improvement, and electrical characterization.
- Knowledge of data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with design validation and transistor reliability concepts.
- Experience or exposure to industry-standard reliability simulation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in semiconductor innovation and emerging technologies.

Intel Foundry focuses on advanced semiconductor manufacturing, packaging technologies, process leadership, and yield improvement. Teams within Foundry Technology Manufacturing support the design, development, manufacturing, and assembly of compute devices across Intel's global factory network.
Work Model
This position follows Intel's hybrid work model, allowing a combination of on-site and off-site work based on business requirements.
