Overview

As a Trainee in Product Management, you will support the product management and product marketing teams in developing, launching, and maintaining automotive microcontroller products. The role involves assisting with market analysis, product data handling, lifecycle support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. It offers hands-on exposure to the automotive semiconductor industry and helps build a strong foundation in product management.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Product Data Management: Maintain and update product data in internal databases while ensuring consistency and accuracy across platforms.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Assist the product management team in overseeing the lifecycle of products, from concept through end-of-life, including phase-in and phase-out planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with teams such as sales, marketing, engineering, and quality to ensure alignment on product-related activities.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Perform research on market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements, then provide insights to the product management team.
  • AI-powered Research: Conduct data-driven market analysis and competitive research using AI-based tools.
  • Product Collateral: Support the preparation and maintenance of product materials such as datasheets, user manuals, application notes, and presentations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and recommend adjustments that enhance efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports or dashboards to track KPIs and deliver insights to stakeholders.
  • Go-to-Market Support: Assist in executing product and application go-to-market strategies.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a related area. Internship or co-op experience is acceptable.
  • Understanding of the automotive sector and microcontroller technology, or willingness to learn.
  • Analytical mindset with exposure to AI or ML tools for market research, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with familiarity with database tools like Excel or Access.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
