IBM is hiring for the position of Data Analyst Intern under IBM Consulting - APAC. This internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization. As part of the IBM Consulting team, you will contribute to data-driven decision-making processes that impact key business strategies.

This role is ideal for students passionate about working with data and technology in a collaborative and professional environment. Interns will receive mentorship from experienced analysts and will be exposed to industry-standard tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and organization from multiple sources
• Perform exploratory data analysis and derive actionable insights
• Develop dashboards and visual reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
• Identify data trends and patterns to support strategic decision-making
• Document processes and present findings to internal stakeholders

Eligibility

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Open to candidates who meet the academic and skill criteria mentioned below

Education Requirement

• Currently enrolled in a recognized Bachelor's degree program in relevant disciplines
• Strong academic foundation in statistics, mathematics, or computer science preferred

Technical Skills Required

Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Data Visualization, Exploratory Data Analysis, Data Cleaning, Python (basic), R (basic), Communication Skills, Problem Solving, Team Collaboration

Professional Skills Required

• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities
• Basic programming knowledge in Python or R is desirable
