Cybersecurity Test Engineer
This position is designed as an onsite role and is expected to be based primarily at an HPE office.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct certification testing aligned with NIST FIPS 140-3 and Common Criteria (CC) requirements.
- Perform network security and vulnerability testing across networking applications and APIs.
- Identify potential security weaknesses and document vulnerabilities with risk impact and remediation suggestions.
- Develop and maintain automated security testing scripts using Python, Bash, and Robot Framework.
- Integrate automated security validation processes within CI/CD pipelines.
Technical Responsibilities
- Test the implementation and security of AAA protocols including RADIUS, TACACS+, and Diameter, focusing on configuration and secure communications.
- Work with FIPS and Common Criteria Network Device Collaborative Protection Profile (NDcPP) certification requirements.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and security validation for networking software, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
- Use penetration testing and vulnerability scanning tools aligned with OWASP Top 10 practices.
- Apply knowledge of secure coding, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and API security principles.
Additional Skills
Experience with cloud architectures, DevOps environments, distributed computing, microservices, testing automation, and solutions design is beneficial.
