Role Overview

This role is designed as an onsite position with the expectation that work will primarily be carried out from an HPE office. The position is intended for university students enrolled in a PhD program who want to apply advanced research skills to real world challenges during their academic studies.

Responsibilities

• Explore emerging research areas and translate conceptual ideas into prototypes or proof of concept solutions.
• Support the design and execution of research methods, including data collection and analysis.
• Develop algorithms and models using approaches such as deep learning, natural language processing, and advanced analytics.
• Work with researchers, engineers, and product managers to align research work with product goals.
• Present research progress, technical insights, and findings to different stakeholders.
• Document research processes, methodologies, and outcomes, and prepare reports or presentations summarizing results.
• Contribute to projects that may result in publications or intellectual property depending on the research outcomes.

Education and Experience

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong academic background and interest in advancing research.
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities with a structured approach to solving problems.
• Experience with programming languages or tools such as Python, R, or similar research software.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques and statistical analysis tools.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work with defined deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and focus on solution driven outcomes.

Internship Scope
