Cloud Developer

This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to work from an HPE office about two days per week.

Job Description

The Cloud Developer builds solutions from the ground up to support mission-critical applications. The role focuses on designing and delivering end-to-end technical solutions for customer challenges.

This position applies technical thinking to break down complex problems, prototype solutions, and implement cloud-based systems. Collaboration with project managers and development teams ensures efficient delivery, deployment, monitoring, and support of cloud engagements.

The developer also contributes to building innovative service offerings that enhance HPE’s cloud services portfolio across different platforms, systems, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain cloud application modules according to feature specifications while following security policies.
• Create test plans and execute or automate test cases for assigned application components.
• Deploy code and troubleshoot issues during development and testing.
• Share and review technical ideas with peers, technical contributors, writers, and managers.
• Analyze engineering, business, and data processing problems to implement solutions for complex applications, system administration tasks, or network concerns.

Knowledge and Skills

• Programming knowledge in Python, Java, Golang, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of coding, testing, and debugging processes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies while collaborating with team members.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
