Overview
Technical Support Engineer
This role involves providing technical assistance to Japanese users for computer and IT software related issues through phone support. The engineer is expected to deliver IT solutions within defined timelines while ensuring customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for computer systems and IT software to Japanese customers via phone.
- Resolve IT issues and deliver solutions within the required time limits.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field.
- Fluent business-level Japanese with clear pronunciation.
- Experience studying or working in Japan is preferred.
- Strong customer communication ability and service awareness.
- Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good logical thinking, willingness to learn, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic knowledge of IT software and hardware. Candidates with a technical background or call center experience are preferred.
- Proficiency with office tools such as Outlook and Excel.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Working Schedule
The service operates 365 days a year. Employees work five days with two days off on a rotating schedule.
Typical shifts include 08:00–17:00 or 11:00–20:00. Compensatory leave is provided when working on weekends.
