Role Overview
Join an AI-powered FinTech startup building a next-generation research assistant for institutional investors. Our platform reads financial documents, flags anomalies, and provides insightful answers using natural language – a ChatGPT-like solution tailored for forensic finance.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to frontend development using React, Tailwind, and Vite
- Support backend development with Node.js and Python
- Integrate AI workflows involving PDF parsing, OpenAI APIs, and document processing
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
- Fix bugs and improve system performance
- Collaborate with the product and design teams on features and UI components
- Participate in sprint planning and asynchronous team updates
Requirements
- Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Familiarity with Python and AI-related libraries
- Understanding of LLMs or interest in OpenAI-powered applications
- Ability to work independently and learn fast
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Availability: 15–25 hours per week
Preferred (Bonus) Skills
- Experience with: Git, Supabase, Firebase, Replit
- Knowledge of: AI prompt engineering, vector databases, PDF processing
- Exposure to financial data, accounting tools, or FinTech platforms
