Job Summary

This role sits within the SBD Global Supply Management (GSM) and Global Supply Chain (GSC) Indirect Global Procurement (IGP) organization. It supports services work alongside the SBD IGP team and other functional owners, including business owners and their end users, suppliers, Accounting GSS, GSM COE, Legal, Privacy, Insurance, Cyber Security and Finance.

Work details: Associate's degree required. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are required, and ERP, CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) and case management tools are preferred. Travel is about 10%. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm (EST).

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing tasks include managing PR/PO and change order processes, creating and approving purchase requisitions, handling requisition modifications and cancellations, supporting inquiries, document retention, and period end accrual reporting. Purchase order processing covers PO creation, inventory and lead time checks, data validation, requisition to PO reconciliation, issuing and updating orders with suppliers, change orders, blanket PO monitoring and releases, and resolving GRIR with the Buy Desk.

Catalog management covers creating and maintaining catalogs that reflect supplier products and services on ERP and non-ERP platforms. The role includes maintaining catalog structure, data cleansing, standardization, taxonomy development, price and listing comparisons, catalog KPI reporting, and working with cross-functional teams such as Accounting, Global Shared Services, IGP and Category Management.

Catalog data quality work includes keeping product information, specifications, pricing, part numbers, descriptions and images accurate, researching product details online, and creating product content where needed.

Skill Requirements

The role involves filling CSV and catalog upload sheets for various platforms, improving data quality and consistency, and using Advanced Excel to analyze and manage large data sets. Catalog operations include new catalog setup, validating and approving item content, resolving formatting and loading errors, testing catalog utilization, maintaining punch-out catalogs, reviewing inactivity reports, and archiving obsolete records.

Contract management involves executing documentation and contract negotiations in English and the local language, with focus on the contract review checklist and required approvals. Strategic sourcing covers low-value, no-risk transactional single-quote sourcing below about $10K, and RFPs executed in English. Procurement operations also includes translating ERP descriptions from the local language into English.
