Job Summary
The Engineer in Tools & Automation develops and supports automation solutions built with ServiceNow (SNOW) and JavaScript. The role centres on writing high-quality code, maintaining existing applications and delivering new features based on client requirements, supporting the efficiency of the wider organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop code for automation projects using JavaScript and SNOW Admin, keeping to project timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing ServiceNow applications, resolving issues efficiently so functionality stays seamless.
- Work with clients to gather requirements and build new features or enhancements in existing systems using REST/SOAP APIs and AngularJS.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for all development activities, keeping project deliverables clear and consistent.
Skill Requirements
- Proficient in SNOW Admin and support.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and AngularJS for application development.
- Basic knowledge of software development principles and practices.
Other Requirements
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (optional but valuable).
