Job Summary
The Tools & Automation Engineer improves operational efficiency by developing and maintaining automation tools. This role focuses on asset management and ITIL processes, making sure solutions meet organizational standards for quality and cost. The engineer works with others to deliver high-quality code, support existing projects and respond to client requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop code for asset management projects using relevant programming languages and technologies, meeting time, quality and cost standards.
- Maintain existing asset management systems by troubleshooting and resolving issues to keep services running.
- Work with clients to gather new feature requests and implement enhancements to asset management solutions that match client needs and best practices.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for code, processes and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and day-to-day efficiency.
Other Requirements
- Optional but valuable: ITIL Foundation certification.
- Optional but valuable: certification in asset management or a related field.
