Job Summary

This role contributes to the design and implementation of standard cell circuits within semiconductor design projects. The position focuses on applying foundational STD-cell circuit design knowledge to develop, test, and maintain digital circuit blocks while ensuring quality and performance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Use industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Synopsys Custom Compiler to implement digital logic cells according to project specifications.
2. Develop and validate circuit layouts using transistor-level design concepts and simulation tools such as Spectre, ensuring adherence to design rules and performance metrics.
3. Assist in debugging and troubleshooting existing standard cell library elements using layout verification tools like Calibre for DRC/LVS checks.
4. Document design workflows and maintain records of circuit updates using project tracking and collaborative documentation platforms.
5. Work closely with team members to understand feature requirements and support the development of circuit blocks aligned with client needs.

Skill Requirements

• Basic knowledge of STD-cell circuit design and digital logic implementation.
• Familiarity with EDA tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, and Calibre.
• Understanding of transistor-level design and simulation fundamentals.
• Ability to maintain clear technical documentation of design activities and outcomes.

Additional Requirements

• Cadence Certified Custom IC Design Specialist (Foundational Level) is optional.
• Synopsys Custom Design Certification (Entry Level) is optional.
