Happiest Minds is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join the team. This entry-level role is suited for recent graduates or candidates beginning their career in cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and reviewing security incidents and alerts to identify possible threats.
• Support the implementation of security controls to protect systems and sensitive information.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
• Maintain and update security documentation, policies, procedures, and incident reports.
• Work with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Keep up with emerging cyber threats and industry trends.
• Provide assistance during security audits and assessments.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices.
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Ability to review and interpret security logs and alerts.
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages including Python or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts and practices.
• Certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CEH are an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant internships or academic projects in cyber security are preferred.
