Position Overview
The Graduate Engineer Trainee - Production Quality will support production quality operations, ensuring compliance with standards, resolving quality issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Autonomous Production Unit (APU).
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain the QRQC database.
- Assist APU Managers and Site Manager in analyzing issues identified during QRQC activities.
- Update quality tracking charts, including Customer Returns and Cost of Non-Quality metrics.
- Conduct line audits to detect deviations from standards and coordinate corrective actions.
- Participate in resolving customer complaints and non-quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to QRQC meeting protocols, including 'Stop at first disagree' and 'Stop at first no'.
- Revise control plans following quality issues.
- Verify compliance with the 4M matrix for product or process changes and ensure customer approval.
- Update quality documentation after process changes.
- Confirm ongoing process conformance to product specifications as per control plans, including machine capability and annual product audits.
- Exercise authority to halt manufacturing or assembly lines when standards, safety, or quality are compromised.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related fields) from an accredited institution.
