About the Role
GKN Aerospace India is offering a 15-month Graduate Programme aimed at recruiting and developing engineering graduates by providing a structured learning experience through real-world problem solving and digital transformation initiatives. This is an opportunity to be part of a global aerospace leader, working with cutting-edge technologies and world-class teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive digital transformation within aerospace processes including manufacturing engineering, product development, purchasing, logistics, and quality
- Conceptualize, develop, and implement digital solutions using technologies like AI, ML, Data Analytics, and Machine Vision
- Engage in real-time projects and initiatives such as Industry 4.0 and Lean Operating Model
- Collaborate with internal teams and build strong cross-functional relationships
- Participate in structured development, mentorship programs, and training modules
- Progressively take ownership of project modules under guidance from mentors and managers
- Align personal goals with organizational strategy and contribute to operational success
What We Expect
Essential:
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles
- Passion for technology and self-driven learning
- Interest in the aerospace industry and digital innovation
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English
- Ability to build relationships based on mutual trust
- Adaptability to new tasks and environments
- Legal right to work in India
Desirable:
- Hands-on experience with tools and projects involving data pipelines, AI/ML, software development
- Previous internships or project experience in software engineering or data-related fields
- Active participation in STEM events, competitions, or tech communities
- ITAR/SSA clearance (if applicable)
