Genpact Kolkata Hiring Specialist F&A R2R | Freshers Eligible

Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Specialist - RTR. Record To Report (R2R), including Accounting and Reporting, is an important service line within Genpact's Finance and Accounting (F&A) practice. Genpact needs fresh campus hires who can bring fresh thinking on the R2R value proposition, innovation and digital orientation to help drive clients' finance transformation.

Responsibilities

• Provide R2R transaction processing and ensure delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness every day.
• Process standard monthly journals.
• Perform intercompany and bank reconciliation and confirmation.
• Fixed Assets: ensure timely capitalization, addition and disposal of assets, depreciation, FA reposting and reconciliations, and clear overdue open items.
• Review sub-ledger vs general-ledger reconciliations.
• Execute project detail work and ensure all reporting requirements are met.
• Work with the Global Process Owner to standardize R2R activities.
• Ensure all MEC activities and reconciliations are completed on time and with accuracy.
• Review monthly Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations.
• Resolve general accounting and reporting issues in consultation with the Team Lead.
• Assist and support the team in implementing project initiatives.
• Review backlog and cycle time reports to improve process flow times.
• Ensure stakeholder queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible and proactive manner.
• Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvement solutions once confirmed by the Team Lead.
• Support new and existing team members through accurate knowledge transfer, sharing of resources and experience, and standard methodology, so quality is maintained through any staff transition.
• Lead end-to-end accounting work, including FA, IC, and Closing and Reporting.
• Apply strong analytical skills to understand process issues and provide solutions based on process requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through quality initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and experience of IFRS Accounting and Reporting.
• Contribute to developing standard methodology frameworks, case studies, benchmarking for R2R processes, and collateral to make Genpact a leading R2R service provider for clients.
• Participate in proposals, transformation projects, solutions and other projects.
• Work across businesses and drive margin improvement initiatives: identify quick opportunities, adopt standard methodologies and help speed up their implementation in accounts.
• Contribute to improving metrics and cost efficiency of R2R processes as a Subject Matter Specialist.
• Create diagnostic and benchmarking tools to assess gaps.
• Engage and execute engagements with Fortune 500 organizations on process, digital and operating models.
• Understand the operational framework that enables stability, consistency and efficiency across 100+ R2R processes at Genpact.
• Assist in implementing practices across different accounts.
