Established in 2000, the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru serves as GE Aerospace's multidisciplinary research and engineering hub. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to numerous aviation patents and have helped advance engine technologies, materials innovation, and additive manufacturing.
Job Description
- Assist with the design, development, and testing of digital solutions and applications.
- Support data analysis and interpretation to help guide digital initiatives.
- Work with cross functional teams including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Take part in project planning, documentation, and reporting activities.
- Research emerging digital technologies and stay updated with industry trends.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues when they arise.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Basic knowledge of software development concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
