Overview
Fund Accounting Analyst
This position is an entry management level role responsible for guiding a team and supporting a range of fund valuation activities in collaboration with the Operations, Transaction Services team. The role focuses on ensuring smooth delivery of processes related to Net Asset Valuation (NAV) for investment funds.
Responsibilities
- Support managers with day to day operational activities and maintain effective communication with team members, leadership, external teams, and clients.
- Review and analyze daily security prices to confirm accurate valuation and address pricing related risk management tasks.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation contact for Pricing Analysts regarding BAU queries and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with brokers and investment officers to determine suitable pricing approaches for complex securities.
- Oversee daily BAU service quality and ensure operational standards are maintained.
- Maintain strong service performance aligned with LFA objectives and operational goals.
- Assist with audit related requests and follow up activities while ensuring procedures, checklists, and quality standards are properly followed.
- Evaluate risk when making business decisions while safeguarding Citi, its clients, and its assets. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations while maintaining transparent escalation and issue management.
Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university qualification, or comparable experience.
