Role Overview
At BiCSoM, product development focuses on turning ideas into well-designed and functional technology solutions. As part of the team, you will contribute to building responsive and creative websites using modern web technologies and WordPress frameworks.
The role involves working with tools such as WordPress, Elementor, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, Gatsby, and jQuery to deliver high-quality websites used by customers around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, build, or maintain responsive websites using WordPress and related web technologies.
- Work with WordPress styling frameworks such as Elementor and WP Bakery.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize feature releases, resolve development issues, and deliver effective website solutions.
- Perform unit testing on website code and maintain web coding standards.
- Create and validate test routines and schedules so that test cases replicate external web interfaces across browsers and devices.
- Stay updated with modern website design and development practices, including WordPress plugins and programming approaches.
- Manage and follow proper data backup procedures for WordPress and other CMS platforms.
- Identify issues reported through customer feedback and resolve them proactively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Diploma in Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Understanding of SOLID principles and experience developing web applications.
- Proficiency in WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Ajax, and ES6.
- Ability to solve complex development challenges using WordPress and PHP.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing as part of a team.
