About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
• Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot production and staging issues.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and operational tasks using scripts and tools.
• Write and maintain Bash/Shell scripts for automation and routine operations.
• Learn and follow DevOps best practices and security standards.
• Work with Docker to build, run, and manage containerized applications.
• Maintain clear documentation for processes, workflows, and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Understanding of Docker and containerization concepts.
• Knowledge of Linux fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Drone CI, or GitLab CI.
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and culture.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Scripting basics in Shell or Python.
• Experience with Docker Compose or basic container orchestration.
• Basic Bash/Shell scripting for automation.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or ELK Stack.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Internship, academic projects, or labs related to DevOps, Cloud, or Automation.
