Job Summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products. To support its teams in building great products and driving growth, Flex is looking to add an Associate Engineer for Engineering Change Management in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Create part numbers for the BOM in Agile and Baan, and set up AVL records in the Agile and Baan systems.
• Download customer documents such as product specifications and release them in CDC. Work as a change analyst during NPI for new changes.
• Release part lists to production for new models and after ECO implementation.
• Study ECOs and drawings closely and coordinate with the site process and product engineering teams.
• Work closely with engineering and materials teams to review product updates and modifications.
• Respond to business partners (requestors) and customers on queries about Engineering Change Orders, and ensure adherence to targets set for all process metrics.
• Lead and manage people with good leadership skills.
