About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Firmware Engineer to join our IoT product development team. You will be instrumental in building firmware for next-generation smart appliances, ensuring efficiency, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize firmware for smart appliances using wireless protocols like Wi-Fi and BLE.
- Implement hardware communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and SPI.
- Design and maintain secure OTA update systems and apply firmware security best practices.
- Work with RTOS (preferably FreeRTOS) to meet real-time performance requirements.
- Collaborate with product, hardware, software, and manufacturing teams for end-to-end product development.
- Optimize bootloaders, memory usage, and startup scripts to enhance system efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0 to 1 year of experience in embedded firmware development, preferably in IoT devices or wearables.
- Experience with ESP32 or similar Wi-Fi/BLE-enabled MCUs, OTA support, and secure boot processes.
- Hands-on experience with sensor integration and calibration (TDS, flow, hall, temperature, humidity, capacitive touch).
- Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with assembly language for low-level hardware interfacing.
- Knowledge of debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD, and logic analyzers.
- Understanding of concurrency handling, semaphores, inter-process communication, and multi-core synchronization.
