The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is an intermediate-level role responsible for delivering analysis and insights on Citi’s financial results in collaboration with the broader Finance team. The objective of the role is to develop reports and analytical outputs that help evaluate the organization’s alignment with forecasted performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the estimation of risk capital and incorporate findings into management reports and decision-making processes.
• Assist in analyzing the financial performance of Citi and relevant competitors.
• Participate in the annual planning and periodic forecasting cycles, including monthly reviews of results against established plans.
• Contribute to the annual budget process and monthly financial estimates.
• Use financial metrics and analysis to support evaluation of proposed business decisions.
• Analyze management review presentations related to different regions and product lines.
• Assist with time-sensitive activities supporting client-facing Financial Planning and Analysis teams.
• Assess potential risks when business decisions are made and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Skills and Experience

• 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Working knowledge of financial analysis, reporting tools, and related processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical capabilities for financial data interpretation.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
