About the Role

Deloitte's Regulatory, Risk & Forensic team is seeking a Financial Crime Investigator - Junior Analyst for a Fixed Term Hire (FTH) position. This role involves supporting clients in navigating complex regulatory environments, mitigating risks, and enhancing organizational resilience through advanced data, AI, and industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct transaction monitoring, lookbacks, and investigations.
• Perform AML/KYC reviews, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
• Review Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and sanctions screening alerts.
• Assist in AML independent testing and risk assessments.
• Participate in fraud review processes.
• Analyze complex entity documentation and annual reports.
• Apply knowledge of US and Non-US AML regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• 0–3 years of experience in banking or financial services operations.
• Strong research and investigative capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.

Education

Bachelor's degree in BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BA, BBM or equivalent from an accredited university.
